Pete was born on July 28, 1934 in Roaring Springs, Texas to Louis and Esther Clifton

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Beatrice Clifton of Plainview, TX, his daughter; Denise Ashley and husband, James, of Plainview, TX, grandchildren; Brian Ashley of Beaumont, TX, and Dana Burris and husband, Josh, of Ft. Worth, TX, and a great-grandson; Blake Burris.
