Funeral Services for L.C. "Buck" Fred of Lubbock will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 17, 2012 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Jerry "Skeet" Steward officiating and Rev. Jim Fullingham assisting. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Fred passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 in Lubbock. He was born on June 16, 1938 in Lubbock. : He attended Petersburg schools and farmed there for many years and most recently worked for Pollard Ford.

Survivors include two sisters, Peggy Malone of Lubbock, Patsy Bolles of Plainview; four nephews, Jerry "Skeet" Steward and wife Mary of Odessa, TX, Tony Malone of Dallas, Danny Malone and wife Nancy of Tyler, TX, Mike Fred of Colorado; two nieces, Mischelle Ethridge and Melanie Headley both of Plainview; several Great-Nieces and Nephews.
