Laurita Ann Curry Wall, 62, of Plainview, passed from this life on September 25, 2018 at home. Graveside arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m at Plainview Memorial Park.

Laurita was born on Feburary 12, 1956 in Lockney, TX to Johnny Curry Sr and Barbara Curry (Carreathers). She married Alan Wall on August 25, 1972 and from this union had one child, Katrina Wall.

Laurita worked as an LVN for many years before retiring. She was a member of Full Armor Ministries. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, and friend.  Laurita will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter; Katrina Wall of Plainview, grandson; Ke'lyn English of Plainview, brothers; Johnny Curry Sr. of Plainview, Thomas Curry Sr. of Plainview, and Michael Curry of Houston, sisters; LaJuana Curry of Lubbock, Kathy Curry of Lubbock, Verlonela Curry of McGregor, Sonja Curry of Houston, and Kim Curry of Houston, one great-grandchild; Makenzie Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her father; Johnny Curry Sr, and two sisters; Tanya Coleman and Cynthia Curry.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Curry Sr., Thomas Curry Jr., Bryson Davis, Rashaud Ellis, Jim Bernard, and Coby Coleman

Honorary pallbearers include Keagan Davis, Bo Davis, Elijah Ellis, and Jordan Ellis.
