On March 25, 2026, Kimberly Ann (Sheldon) Williamson lost her battle to a long fight with cancer. A Burial will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Silverton Cemetery in Silverton, TX. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview.
Kim was born on September 14, 1973, to Robert Lee Sheldon and Rebecca (McPherson) Crosby in Wichita Falls, TX. Kim attended Tulia Public Schools, where she met and married Gary Williamson. Kim was blessed with two children, Sawyer Ferguson and Seth Ferguson. Together, Kim and Gary were blessed once more with another son, Gage Williamson. Most people knew Kim through the Tulia Police Department and also the Plainview Police Department, where she was a dispatcher and 911 operator. She received her certification to meet and counsel battered and abused women. Kim was best known for her dimpled smile and witty personality. She was also known for her love and devotion to the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her loved ones. She did have a short term relationship with her Harley Davidson while she lived in Florida, where she was employed by a well known Parcel Service. Upon returning to Texas, she worked at Home Depot (Dept. Supervisor), where she met Leo; their relationship lasted to the very end.
Kim is proceeded in death by her mema, Bernice McPherson; her Pepa, Henry M. McPherson; her cousin, Tiffani Cox; and her aunt, Connie.
She is survived by her mother, Rebecca Ann (Sheldon) Crosby and husband Brandon Crosby of Plainview, TX; her three children, Sawyer Ferguson and wife Cassandra and their little one Wyatt of San Antonio, TX, Seth Ferguson and his two girls, Skylar and Braelynn of Tulia, TX, and Gage Williamson of Tulia, TX; her aunts, Terri of Hale Center, TX, Donna of Gruver, TX, and Mary of Vega, TX; her uncle, Milton of Lubbock, TX; her cousins, Brett of Decatur, TX, Michele, Heather, Shane, Brian, Russ, Nikki and Wade; her furry friends were Bravestar and Nala, they will miss her as well.
Now that Kim is pain free, she can fly high on that mountain – Fly, Kim, fly to be with your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
