Funeral services for Juanita Vallejo, 74 of Floydada will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Plainview with President S. Bradley Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Floydada Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Vallejo died on Monday, January 6, 2014 in Amarillo. She was born July 26, 1939 in Woodward, Texas to Sefrino and Margarita Espinosa. She married Manuel B. Vallejo on April 21, 1955 in Asherton, Texas. He died December 22, 2013. She is survived by 4 sons, Juan Vallejo and wife Margaret of Amarillo, Jose Luiz Vallejo and wife Diana of Amarillo, Victor Vallejo and wife Cindy of Amarillo and Pedro Vallejo III and wife Elieen of Odell, Oregon; 4 daughters, Frances Ann Sepulveda and husband Santos of Waseca, MN, Sylvia Wyer and husband Michael of Amarillo, Gloria Vielma and husband Frankie of Nyssa, Oregon and Guadalupe McAlpine and husband Tim of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Joe Nanez and wife Frances of Sunray, TX and Jose Gonzalez of Ft. Worth; 1 sister, Alicia Garcia of Carrizo Springs, TX; 27 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
