Jouric Jorrell Wideman, 42, of Plainview, Texas, passed away on May 2, 2026. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Bartley Memorial Chapel in Plainview, TX. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Plainview, TX, with Apostle David Gardner officiating. Interment will follow to Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview, TX.

He was born on January 18, 1984, in Plainview, TX.

Jouric was a man whose presence brought strength, love, and meaning to those around him. He will be remembered for his smile, spirit, resilience, and the deep love he carried for his family. His life, though it ended too soon, was filled with moments that touched the hearts of many.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Helena Wideman, and his father, Joe Crockett.

Jouric leaves behind his cherished children, Jourian Wiggins, Jozion Wiggins and Jaebron Wideman, who were the pride and joy of his life. He also survived by his siblings, Destiny Wideman, Brandon Crockett, and Ravynn Wideman, along with extended family and loved ones who will forever hold his memory close.

Jouric’s legacy will live on through the lives he impacted, the love he gave, and the memories shared with those who knew him best. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
