Joseph Giordano, 39, of Plainview, departed from this earthly world and entered heaven's gates on October 17, 2020. No services are scheduled at this time.

Joseph Giordano was born on October 9, 1981 to Joann Blando Shivers and Frank Giordano in Brooklyn, New York where he grew up.  Joseph was known for his heart of gold that shined through even on the toughest of days. He was a big teddy bear and a very generous man who loved hard and was loved even more. Joseph was very artistic and loved to draw. He was a major Yankees fan and enjoyed working on cars. He was very good with his hands.

Above all, he was a loving and devoted father. Giovanna was the love of his life and would do absolutely anything for his little girl. He is now looking down upon her and providing her protection and love from above. Joseph's earthly body is gone too soon but he will live within us for the rest of our lives. He is no longer in pain and is rejoicing with the angels.

Joseph will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his daughter, Giovanna Giordano of Plainview; wife, Francesca LaValle; mother, Joann Shivers and her husband, Melvin, of Plainview; brothers, Frank Giordano and his wife, Nicolette, of Seminole, Florida and Tyrese Shivers of Plainview; sister, Vanessa Giordano of Plainview; nephew, Damien Giordano, and nieces, Domanique Otero and Dezmanae Willis.
