Joseph Junior Adams was born on May 3, 1938 to Elizabeth Whitlock Adams Thomas Ezra Adams in the Appalachian Mountains near Ridgeport, Tennesee. He was married to Allene Rathcart and she preceded him in death. Mr. Adams was a serviceman in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ralph, Clinton and Clarence Adams; two sisters, Betty June and Covita Ray.
Joe came to Tulia, Texas in 2002. He met and married Lillie Abel Davis.
Mr. Adams passed away in Hale Center, Texas on February 9, 2017. He was buried in the Center Plains Cemetery, following a private graveside service. Arrangements are under the care of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview.
