Funeral services for Johnnie M. Thompson, 71 of Plainview will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at United Baptist Church with Rev. M.L. White officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A wake will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Thompson passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 in Plainview. She was born on December 19, 1941 in Hamlin, Texas to Fred and Adell Thompson, Sr. She is survived by her children, Calvin and Kerri Thompson of South Dakota, Chris and Molly Thompson of Plainview, Elayne Caruthers of Houston, Craig and Kari Caruthers of South Dakota and Carla and Anthony of Plainview; brothers, Fred Thompson, Jr. of Plainview, Girlon and Carolyn Thompson of Plainview and Curtis and Velma Thompson of Plainview; sisters, Ola Johnson of El Paso and Margie Thompson of Plainview. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Brian Thompson
