Johnnie Love, 76, of Lubbock, departed this earthly world and entered heaven's gates on August 11, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Bartley Memorial Chapel. A visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.

Johnnie was born on January 6, 1946, to Levi Love and Sarah Ann Bruce in Celina, Texas. She was a seamstress and enjoyed singing and playing the piano. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Angela Gail Foster of Lubbock, LaShonda Ann Love of Lubbock, and Gwendolyn Love of Lubbock, and her brother; Freddie Lee Benford of Lubbock. Johnnie was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Johnnie is preceded in death by her parents; Levi and Sarah Love, and two brothers; Walter Ray Jackson and Dale Faye Love.

Pallbearers are Alecia M. Love, Shawanna R. Love-Roddy, D'Ajenae J. Love, Sinceray A. Love, Anndrena L. Foster, and Toran B. McDonald. Honorary pallbearers are Briana B. SinClair and Kip T. Roddy.
