John Andrew Klattenhoff, 75, of Slaton, passed away on April 13, 2021. Memorial services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Posey, Texas on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 4 p.m.

Andy was born on October 19, 1945 to George W. and Verna Mae Klattenhoff in Lubbock County. He married Shirley Emery on December 28. 1978 in Ft. Worth, Texas. They shared 42 wonderful years together.

Andy became a Mason on January 22, 1974 and then became a Master Mason on November 4, 1986.  He was Worshipful Master of the lodge from Jun 6, 1990 to June 23, 1991. Andy was Council of royal and select masters #183 thrice Illustrious Master and District Deputy thrice Illustrious Master.  Royal Arch Mason's Chapter 248 – past High Priest and District Deputy High Priest. He was Worshipful Master of Lubbock Masonic Lodge #1392. Andy was also past commander for Lubbock Commandry #70.

Those left to cherish Andy's memory is his wife; Shirley Klattenhoff of Slaton, Texas, children; JoAnn Cline and husband, Brett, of Buckline, Kansas, John Andrew Klattenhoff Jr. and wife, Elayne, of Midland, Texas, and Georgie Housh and husband, Danny, of Canyon, Texas. Andy was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Andy is preceded in death by his parents; George W. and Verna Mae Klattenhoff, two sisters; Lena Neugebauer and Mayra Jean Colleps, and one brother; Joe Klattenhoff.
