John Paul Jimenez, 43, was born on September 5, 1974 in Lamesa to Rodolfo "Rudy" and Gloria (Rodriguez) Jimenez. He passed from this life on August 15, 2018 in Odessa. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bartley Funeral Home in Plainview. No Services are scheduled at this time.

John Paul was a hard-working man that loved his children and his family. He enjoyed working on his truck and cruising around listening to country music.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two daughters; Samantha Cisneros of Corpus Christi, and Brittney Jimenez of Plainview, his mother; Gloria Jimenez of Hale Center, his siblings; Josie Vera of Austin, Yolanda Cortez of Harlingen, Felix Jimenez of Harlingen, Gloria Salinas of Lamesa, Linda Alvarado of Hale Center, Rudy Jimenez of Lamesa, Gavino Jimenez of Lubbock, Noemi Jimenez of Hale Center, Jessie Jimenez of Hale Center, Susana Jimenez of Amarillo, Daniel Jimenez of Hale Center, Natalie Jimenez of Hale Center, his two granddaughters; Nyelli and Gabriela Sanchez of Corpus Christi, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father; Rudy Jimenez, brother; Trinidad Jimenez, and his grandparents; Frank and Sara Jimenez and Felix and Eva Hipolito.
