Funeral mass for Joe Salinas, 45 of Plainview will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Nahum Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25 at the funeral home. Joe died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Plainview. He was born on May 9, 1970 in Goodland, Kansas to Jose and Hope Salinas. He is survived by 2 sons, Joe Salinas III and Jaime Salinas both of Plainview; 2 daughters, Adriana Nichol Salinas and Kimberly Salinas both of Plainview; his parents, Jose and Hope Salinas of Plainview; 1 brother, Tim and Marcela Salinas of Plainview; 1 sister, Cindy Salinas of Plainview; 1 grandson, Eli Xavier DeLaPaz and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Jayden Josiah DeLaPaz and a nephew, Adam Salinas.
