Joe Angel Navarrete, 26, of Lubbock, entered heaven's gates on June 7, 2021. A memorial Thursday, June 17, 2021at Bartley Funeral Home at 2 p.m.

Joe was born on January 12, 1995, to Elosia Balderas and Jose Santiago Navarrete in Lubbock, Texas.  Joe was a bright light and cherished spending time with his family. He enjoyed basketball, football, and using his great sense of humor to make others smile. He worked tirelessly and gave himself to anything that he did. He was big hearted, playful, and selfless. Joe Angel Navarrete will be remembered as a loving son, brother, nephew, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory is his father; Jose Santiago Navarrete of Mexico,  brothers; Joseph Balderas and wife, April, of Plainview, Jacob Balderas of Lubbock, Joshua Balderas of Lubbock, Cole Diaz of Plainview, and Robert Tenorio of Lubbock, a sister; Elizabeth Navarrete of Plainview, aunts; Hope Balderas of Lubbock, Sylvia Balderas of Hale Center, Susie Balderas of Lubbock, Christina Ramirez and husband, Joe Daniel, of Lubbock, Linda Balderas of Lubbock, Brenda Balderas of Hale Center,  uncles; Joe Navarrete and John Navarrete of Plainview.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Elosia Balderas, and his grandparents; Pabla and Benito Balderas
