JoAnn DeLeon was born on August 19, 1963, to Narcisco DeLeon and Elodia DeLeon Martinez in Plainview, TX. She married Bo Griffy on August 19, 2013, in Oklahoma City, OK.
Those who knew and spent time with Joann knew her as a free spirit. She traveled a lot and worked hard.
Joann was a kind soul, the kindest of us all. I know her daughters Kate and Lauren were always her number one priority. She loved them, and being a grandma brought her so much pleasure. Joann loved her husband Bo so much, he was her rock never leaving her side, he took care her and the girls. Bo was loving and caring through good times and hard times; they faced them together. I thank God for Bo, such a selfless man, taking in the whole family of girls. Bo loved being a grandpa to his granddaughter Jazar. Joann left this world to soon for all of us who loved her but she was ready to be with her other loved one's through Christ.
WE are all heartbroken, losing our little sister so suddenly. Joann was always happy to come back home to visit her family. We all love Joann, her star will shine bright.
Kate, I loved Bo's story of Joann proposing to him!!
