Jim "Jimmy" Edd Reagan Jr., 86, of Lubbock, TX, passed at home peacefully and entered heaven's gates rejoicing on Thursday, August 26, 2021. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Jim was born on December 11, 1934 to Jim Edd Reagan Sr. and Joyce Schulze Reagan in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Diamond Hill High School and Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas on a golf scholarship. Jim served his country as a 2 nd Class Airman in the United States Air Force where he served 6 years. He played golf for the USAF and was crowned ATLD golf champion in 1957 at Prestwick CG in Scotland. Jim and Jim Sr. co-owned Jim Reagan & Son Baggin Co. He was a sales representative in the Cotton Industry for 45 years.
Jim was a member of Lakeridge Methodist Church since 2001. He loved the Lord and people. His favorite scripture was Psalm 100.
Jim had a love for golfing, fishing, and hunting. He was a world traveler and was very adventurous. Jim was known as an avid storyteller, a larger than life personality, and for his warm heart that welcomed all. Above all he loved the Lord Jesus Christ, his family, and was a wonderful son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory is daughter; Tracy Lynn Reagan, a sister; Janet Reagan Chiarella, grandchildren; Chelsea, Hollee, John, and Michelle, great-granchildren; Destinee (D.L.), Aubree (A.J.), Vanya, Lillee, Macie, and Addie, and a dear friend; Twila Aufil. Jim also had a host of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents; Mr. & Mrs. J.E. Reagan Sr., a sister; Gaye Cyr, step-children; Jeanie Hamilton and George Hamilton and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to Military Veterans, Shriners Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?
