Funeral mass for Jesus "Chuy" Gonzalez, 70 of Hart will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday July 24, 2013 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Hart with Rev. Joseph Ravi Gudipalli officiating. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M Tuesday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Mr. Gonzalez died on Saturday July 20, 2013 in Dimmitt. He was born on August 13, 1942 in Monterrey, Mexico to Fernando and Victoria Gonzalez. He married Alicia L. Lopez on February 25, 1959 in McAllen, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Gonzalez of Hart; five sons, Jesus Gonzalez and wife Juanita of Dallas, Arnulfo Gonzalez of Hart, Rene Gonzalez and wife Rebecca of Levelland, Modesto Gonzalez and wife Alicia of Sundown, Rosario Gonzalez and wife Erma of Hart; three daughters, Alicia Guzman and husband Isidro of Bryan, Anita Casanova and husband Edward of Plainview, Elanor Davis and husband Terry of Lubbock; five brothers, Daniel, Rumaldo, Jose, Jose Angel and Guadalupe Gonzalez all of Oklahoma; two sisters, Maria Teresa Villegas of Oklahoma, Juanita Rosas of Plainview; 17 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren.
