Funeral services for Jerry Valencia, 32 of Plainview will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 at Trinity Life Church with Rev. Steve Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Valencia died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Plainview. He was born September 4, 1982 in Del Rio, Texas to Augustine and Idalia Valencia. He worked at the Walmart Tire & Lube Center in Plainview. He is survived by his parents, Augustine and Idalia Valencia of Plainview; 3 sons, Isaiah and Jerry Jay Valencia both of Plainview and Zachary Valencia of Arlington, TX; 1 daughter, Jerusalem Valencia of Arlington, TX; 1 brother, Augustine Valencia III and Crystal Marie Perez of Plainview; 1 sister, Ruby Ann Valencia and Joshua Gonzales of Plainview; maternal grandfather, Juan Gaitan of Del Rio, TX; paternal grandmother, Alicia Zamora of Del Rio, TX.
