Memorial services for Jean FitzGerald, 91 of Lubbock, formerly of Plainview will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at First United Methodist Church Chapel in Plainview with Dr. Max Browning officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bartley Funeral Home. She died Friday, May 23, 2014 in Lubbock. Jean was a member and president of the Hospital Auxiliary "Pink Ladies", the Plainview Symphony Guild, the Knife and Fork Club and was also a member of Delta Delphin Study Club and the First United Methodist Church in Plainview. She sang in the Christian Church Choir and enjoyed going to all her grandkids ballgames. She is survived by 1 daughter, Pat Blankenship and husband Wendel; granddaughter, Kari Byrd; great grandchildren, Leah Byrd, Kody Byrd; grandson, Greg Blankenship and wife Twyla; great grandchildren Amber and Kyle Wooldridge, Cape and Shepherd, Brandi and Keith Toogood, Graham and Harper, Camron Blankenship; granddaughter, Lori Cate and husband Greg; great grandchildren, Tanner and Destanie Ferrell, Rylie Ann, Justin and Korrie Ferrell, Brynlee; 1 son, Jim FitzGerald and wife Judy; grandson, Jamie and Julie FitzGerald, great grandchildren, Daylan and Kaiden, granddaughter, Amy FitzGerald and great grandchild, Riley.
