Memorial services for J T Livesay, 76 of Plainview will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday February 16, 2012 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Bruce Cotton officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Lockney Cemetery. Cremation services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. He died on Sunday February 12, 2012 in Plainview. He was born on June 11, 1935 in Lockney to Lula Ellen Neaves and Edgar Gordon Livesay. He married Margaret Wilson on October 20, 1956 in Clovis, NM. He was a truck driver, a member of the Masonic Lodge organization and worked at Harvest Queen Mill and later at Archer Daniel Midland (ADM). He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lockney. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Livesay of Plainview; four daughters, Sharon Elizabeth Harrell of Ausin, TX, Susan Wason of Austin, TX, Melinda Walters and husband Marty of Wolfforth, TX, Glenda Tucker and husband Jack of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Teddy Gene Livesay of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren, Lisa Harrell of Lubbock, Sarah Wason of Plainview, Emily Wason of San Antonio, Misty Walters of Lubbock, Mason Walters of Austin, Molly Walters of Wolfforth, John Thomas Tucker and Katie Tucker of San Antonio; one great grandchild, Carson James of Lubbock.
