Come as I know you, come as you are. Funeral Mass for Ismael Recio, 50 of Plainview will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be held Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Recio died Friday, February 14, 2014 in Lubbock. He was born on February 18, 1963 in Plainview to Valentin and Guadalupe Salazar Recio. He married Sylvia Rodriquez on July 1, 1982 in Plainview. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia of Plainview; 2 daughters, Mandy Gonzalez and husband Greg and Martika Perez and husband Matt both of Plainview; 3 grandchildren, Jaylee and Evan Gonzalez and Lzzy Perez all of Plainview; 3 brothers, Alex Recio of Hereford, Alfonso Recio of Plainview and Valentin Recio of Amarillo; 6 sisters, Esmeralda Gonzalez, Linda Ramos, Rejina Gonzalez all of Amarillo, Melinda Recio of Lubbock, Sally Recio of Tyler, TX and Anita Moralez of Plainview. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Ascencion Recio and Carlos Recio.
