Funeral mass for Humberto Flores Sr., 83 of Lockney will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday January 17, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Lubbock with Rev. Emiliano Zapada officiating. Burial will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery. A rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday at St. Elizabeth (2305 Main St.). Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Flores died on Friday January 13, 2012 in Lubbock. He was born on August 12, 1928 in Tynan, TX to Francisca Ruiz and Ignacio Flores. He married Maria Ortiz on October 25, 1948 in Orange Grove, TX. He lived in Lockney for 61 years where he was a welder and farmer for many years. He was a member of St. Jose Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Maria Flores of Lockney; one son, Bert Flores and wife Lou Ann of Lubbock; two daughters, Nora Flores and Alicia Gallegos both of Lubbock; one sister, Tina Garza of Lubbock; 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
