Henry Charles Jordan, 68, passed away from this Earth on Monday August 5, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at College Heights Baptist Church. Interments will follow at Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Henry was born on June 1, 1951 to Olden and Odessia Smith Jordan in Memphis, Texas. He moved to Plainview at a young age and attended Booker T Washington School. Mr. Jordan enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 18 and honorably served his country for sixteen years. Henry continued to serve his country and others through the National Guard. Henry also contributed countless hours to others as a Mason. At the time of his passing he was employed as a Private Security Guard

Henry leaves to cherish his memory and honor his legacy one daughter Tina Glenn (Harold) of Plainview. He also leaves the charge of maintaining the Jordan style and Legacy to his brothers; David Jordan (Rena) of Fort Worth, Texas, Richard Jordan(Yvonne)- of Fort Worth, Texas and Tommy Jordan of Lubbock, Texas. Sister in Law's; Lillian Jordan & Carolyn Jordan He leaves the charge of continuing the Jordan traditions among his granddaughters and nieces to his sister; Dorothy Bradley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He also leaves behind his most bragged about worldly possessions granddaughters Charity, Reneta and Kadejh as well great grandson Kaiden.

Henry was proceeded in death by parents Olden & Odessia Jordan , sisters; Janie Coleman and Betty Jordan and a brother; Alan Jordan.

He leaves to mourn his passing a host of nieces, nephews and lifetime friends
