Funeral services for Harvey "H.D." Hays, 94 of Plainview will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 8, 2011 at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Kim Hays officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. He died November 5, 2011 in Plainview. He was born November 6, 1916 in Azle, TX to Ernest and Dorettia Hays. He married Evelyn Metcalf on August 5, 1939 in Childress, TX. He was a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Hays of Plainview; two sons, David Hays of Plainview, Tommy Hays and wife June of Plainview; one brother, Paul Hays and wife Betty of Claytonville; several Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren.
