Guadalupe Sanchez Hernandez. 94, of Lubbock, entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2021 after 94 years of life on this Earth. Services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home in Plainview, Texas followed by burial at Plainview Cemetery.

Guadalupe was born on December 11, 1926 on her family ranch in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. She came to the United States in 1962 and one of her proudest moments was becoming a US citizen many years later.

Guadalupe is survived by her three children, Julio and spouse Olga Hernandez of Plainview, Gracie and spouse William Gomez of Lubbock, and Amelia Hernandez of Duncan, Oklahoma. Her seven grandchildren are Marc Hernandez, Vicki Hernandez, A'Lysia Misiewicz, Alexa Gomez, Frankie Samarron, Crystal Samarron, and Desma Hernandez. Her great-grandchildren are Emerson Misiewicz and Jesela Flores.
