Gloria Lopez Owens gained her wings on Monday, April 21, 2025. Born on August 10, 1961, to Selvestre and Lupe Lopez in Plainview, Texas, Gloria was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She married the love of her life, Raymond Owens, on January 18, 2006, in Plainview.

Gloria will be remembered as a good person with a good heart. She loved to cook and cherished her family, always insisting on taking pictures at any gatherings. Passionate about cats, she also enjoyed the company of her dog and was known for always having a Coke in hand.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Guadalupe "Lupe" Lopez, her daughter, Carl Lopez, and her brothers, Selvestre Lopez Jr. and LeeRoy Lopez. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Raymond Owens; her children, Veroncia Reyna and Ponsiano Martinez; her father, Selvestre Lopez Sr.; her sister, Jessica Lopez; her brother, Marcus Lopez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
