Graveside services for George Mallow, 75 of Plainview will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Floydada Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Mallow died Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Plainview. He was born on July 4, 1937 in Floydada, Texas to Lester Lee and Johnnye Mallow. He is surived by 1 son, William Mallow of Kansas; 1 daughter, Susan Gray and husband Ronny of Oklahoma; 2 step-sons, Don Chastain and wife Valerie of Oklahoma and David Chastain of Carrollton, TX; 2 brothers, Harold Mallow and wife Ila of Amarillo and Dorsey Mallow and wife Janet of Valdosta, Georgia; 12 grandchildren, Marie, Eli, Alyssa, Abby, Colby, Devin, Danny, Shawn, Ashley, Garrett and Tucker. He is preceded in death by both parents, Lester Mallow, Jr., and Shirley Kirkland. We want to give special thanks to his caregiver, Neva Taylor and his many friends.
