Gary Dale Parr, 60, of Plainview, departed from this earthly life on April 25, 2021 and entered heaven's gates. A memorial service will be held at Bartley Funeral Home on May 7, 2021 at 2 p.m. A visitation will take place at Bartley Funeral Home on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.

Gary was born on November 24, 1960 to Bennie and Geneva Parr. He enjoyed sports especially basketball and boxing. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory is his spouse; Margaret Crosslin-Parr, two sons; KeJuan D. Parr and Kingston Cameron Parr;  three step-daughters; Grace Masha Acy, Leticia Crosslin, and Danielle Crosslin, his brothers; Michael Parr, Ricky Parr, and Dwight (Tunie) Parr, and an abundance of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Bennie and Geneva Parr, and a step-daughter; Mateka Crosslin.
