Funeral Mass for Fred D. Gonzales, 82 of Plainview will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Gonzales died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Lubbock. He was born December 27, 1934 in Brady, Texas to Manuel and Betty Diaz Gonzales. He married Sally DeLaCerda on July 4, 1956 in Plainview. He is survived by 3 sons, Manuel and Diane Gonzales and Tony Gonzales both of Plainview and Gilbert and Kris Gonzales of Denton; 3 daughters, Christine Bernal of Plainview, Cynthia and Freddy Mancias of Little Elm and Julie and Lorenzo Medina of Lubbock; 1 brother, Paul Gonzales of Lubbock; 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife and 1 son, Alfredo Gonzales.
