Frank "Pancho" Alfaro, 78 years old, passed away on October 26, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. Arrangements are under the supervision and care of Bartley Funeral Home, Plainview, TX.

Frank Alfaro was born on November 1, 1944, to Jesus De La Cerda and Gregoria Alfaro in Ballinger, Texas.

Frank enjoyed a remarkable 56-year marriage to the love of his life Juanita, until her passing 14 months ago. He had a strong passion for sweets, with ice cream being his absolute favorite. Known for his great sense of humor, Frank was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished family moments. He loved Tejano music and had a deep affection for animals. Born on November 1st, he playfully claimed his name was Frankenstein, given its proximity to Halloween. Frank was a proud member of Guadalupe Church in Lubbock.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus De La Cerda and Gregoria Alfaro, his wife, Juanita Zungia, his daughter, Erlinda Alfaro, one brother, Jose De La Cerda, and one sister, Juana Moreno.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Olivia Garcia of Longmont, CO, his grandson, Jacinto Barios, his granddaughters, Paulette Garcia and Marie Jane Garcia of Longmont, CO, great-grandkids, Jerimiah Barrios, Jacinto Barrios, Jr., Billy Barrios and Jasmyn Barrios and three great-great grandkids, his sisters, Martha and husband Joe Madrigal of Plainview, TX, Henrietta De La Cerda of Ballinger, TX, Thersa Mendoza of Plainview, TX, Olivia Villalpando of Plainview, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
