Florestella "Flor" Lopez Diaz, 73, of Plainview Texas, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2024. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the care of Bartley Funeral Home.

Flor was born on April 11, 1950, to Manuel and Juana Lopez in Hargill, Hidalgo County, Texas.

She cleaned houses for different people throughout her life. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was always helping people. Her favorite pastime was to cook and bake, always having baked goods and a jar full of cookies for the kids. She will always be remembered for cherishing her family get togethers and being a loving mom, sister, and grandmother. Her dog Princess also held a special place in her heart.

Those left to cherish her memories, her child, Juan and spouse Micaela Diaz, her sisters, Lydia Reyes, Marisela Davila, Asencion Lopez, her brother, Humberto Lopez, her grandchild, Jacob Tanner Diaz, her best friend (like a sister) Linda Sepeda and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Juana Lopez, her siblings, Juan Lopez, Olgia Lopez, Alfonzo Lopez, and Orfelinda Barron.
