Evelyn Johnson Inman died on December 3, 2014 at the Plainview Healthcare Center after a brief illness. She was born on May 23, 1919 to Earl and Mary Block Johnson. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1937 and married Alvin (Hal) Inman later that year. After World War II the couple made their home in Plainview. She worked as a bookkeeper in their cement business and enjoyed many years as a homemaker.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Hal, her parents Earl and Mary Johnson, brothers Wayne Johnson and John L.B. Johnson, sisters Earlyne Childers and Wilhelmena Babcock as well as her long time special friend Mary Ann Serna.

Evelyn's graveside service will be in Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. She suggest memorials be given to the Children's Home of Lubbock.
