Funeral mass for Eva Alfaro, 80 of Plainview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Eva went to meet the Lord Friday, March 13, 2015. She was born on June 6, 1934 in Asherton, Texas to Cruz and Edwarda Chapa Enriquez. Eva was a loving and caring hard working mother and grandmother who always put her children first. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by 1 son, Joe Alfaro of Plainview; 4 daughters, Letty Santos of Plainview, Angie and Joe Flores of Hobbs, N.M.; Debra Alfaro and Leonard Perez of Plainview and Lisa and Sammy Sosa of Lubbock; 1 brother, Christelo Enriquez of Italy, Texas; 3 sisters, Maria Benavidez of Hereford, Tina Silvas of Toledo, Ohio, and Amanda Loudermilk of Floydada; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alex Rodriquez, both parents and 2 brothers, Manuel and Mario Enriquez.
