Funeral services for Ernesto Cosme Jimenez will be held Monday, 2:00 pm, December 18, 2017 in Bartley Memorial Chapel with Steve Martinez officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.  Mr. Jimenez passed from this life on December 15, 2017 in Plainview.

Ernesto was born on July 25, 1953 in Plainview, Texas to Hijinio and Rosa (Olivares) Jimenez. He was in the Meat Processing business for many years.

Those left to cherish Ernesto's memory are his sons; Ernesto Jimenez Jr. of Plainview, Eddie Jimenez of Amarillo, Jermiah Flores of Austin, his daughters; Maricella Rushing of Fate, TX, Karen Cornett of Plainview, Victoria Cresencio Vidal of Amarillo and Asia Lynn Flores of Plainview, his sisters;  Ernestina Jimenez of Amarillo, Mary Cortez of Lubbock, Frances Jimenez of Odessa and Paulina Cardenas of Chicago, IL.

He is preceded in death by both parents and three brothers, Albert Jimenez and Baldemar Jimenez and Alfonso Delgado.
