Erma Lee Heads Hill, 77, of Plainview, entered heavens gates on September 1, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at Bartley Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.

Erma was born on May 9, 1943 in Lubbock, Texas to Sam Heads Sr. and Hattie Marie Heads. She was a strong full-time mother know as "Big Momma". She loved to cook for everyone. She could make a meal out of almost anything it was always good. She was known for her soul food. Erma was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Michelle Wright, and husband, Kenneth, of Plainview, Texas,  Barbara Hill and Rich McKelvy of Kress, Texas, Elliott (Kirk) Heads of Forth Worth, Texas, Karon Allen of Plainview, Texas, Tawanna Harrison of Plainview, Texas, LaDonna Heads of Plainview, Texas, and Shanerara Hill of Plainview, Texas, 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, a sister; Bennie Jennings of Plainview, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

Erma is preceded in death by her parents; Sam Heads Sr. and Hattie Marie Heads, a brother Sam Heads Jr, and a great granddaughter; Zayla Michelle Heads.
