Elva was born on May 10, 1956, to Americo and Eleuteria De La Paz in Rocky Ford, Colorado. She married Jose Alfredo Jiminez on February 14, 1998, in Eastland, Texas.
She had a passion for karaoke and was incredibly talented at crafting. As she explored new interests, she embraced gaming, adopting the username "Ominous Snow." Her love for crawfish was matched only by the joy of Darlene's delicious crawfish boils, which she savored while the family indulged in shrimp and crab legs. She loved anything Edward would cook for her and cherished moments spent having teatime with Hope when she was just a child. She loved thrifting, sharing recipes with her granddaughters, and gaming with her grandsons. Board games and horror movies were a must. Elva enjoyed family gatherings and listening to music. Her favorite band was Blue October which she enjoyed attending concerts near and far!
Elva is preceded by her parents: Americo and Eleuteria De La Paz, her husband, Jose Alfredo Jiminez, her son, Billy Ewing and two sisters, Rosalinda Flores and Narcissa Villalobos.
