Church Services for Elnora (Alexander) Bishop, 92, of Plainview, will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at United Baptist Church with Rev. M.L. White officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Bishop passed from this life on January 1, 2018 in Plainview.

Elnora was born on January 12, 1925 in Willis Point, Texas, to Edward and Ethel (Brewster) Alexander. She married Lee Roy Bishop in May of 1947. Elnora worked for Ft. Bend ISD for many years in the cafeteria until she retired. She was a member of United Baptist Church in Plainview. Elnora loved to cook and watch sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys.

Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings; Mattie Alexander, Ora Jean Green, R.L. Alexander and wife Virginia all of Plainview, and Ethel Williams of Midland.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers; Edward Alexander Jr., Gabriel Alexander, Z D Alexander and three sisters; Gertrude Kelly, Glorine Collier, and Vacy Hamilton.
