In Loving Memory of Elizabeth Marie Coffman

January 10, 1985 — October 11, 2024

With heavy hearts, we remember Elizabeth Marie, known as Liz to her friends and family, who passed away on October 11th, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Though she faced hardships, we remember Liz's fiery spirit and deep love for her family. She held a tender spot for animals and cherished her beloved dogs, Rowdy and Simba.

Liz enjoyed the simple moments in life—the laughter shared with loved ones, the comfort of family, and the warmth of connection. She was known to crack a joke, offer a smile, or do something thoughtful for those around her. She was a sister, daughter, partner, aunt, and friend whose heart was always open despite the struggles she carried.

Liz is survived by her mother, Deborah Coffman, who supported her through every stage of her life, and her father, David Coffman. She had a deep connection with her family, especially her sister Angie Betancur, and Angie's children Brayden, Alayna, and Tessa Grace, whom she adored.

Her life partner, Shawn Hutson, and his family, including Shawn's son Chris and his girlfriend Kayla and in-laws Jim and Brenda Speigel, were a source of love and companionship for Liz.

Throughout her life, Liz remained deeply loved by her family and friends. As we gather to remember Liz, we do so with gratitude for the time we had with her. Though her journey has ended, we rejoice for her salvation and complete healing by her Lord and Savior.

Liz's life will be celebrated on October 26th at 10:00 am at Faith Tabernacle Church 1601 44th St, Lubbock, Tx.
