Edwin Cook, 84, of Plainview, departed this earthly world on April 4, 2021 A funeral service will be held at Bartley Memorial Chapel on April 7, 2021 at 11 a.m.

Edwin was born to Ed and Virginia (Hawkins) Cook on August 10, 1936 in Cheney, Kansas. He was a custom harvester for over 50 years and loved his career to the fullest. Edwin enjoyed riding on his Harley Davidson and had a love for motorcycles. He was a giving man and was always thinking and doing for others.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife; Phyllis Cook of Plainview, his children; Edwina Cook of Sunset, Texas, Wade Cook and wife, Wendy, of Bedford, Texas, and Brandy Miller and husband, Ted, of Plainview, Texas, sisters; Donna Johnson of Wichita, Kansas, Phyllis Batterton of Anthony, Kansas, Mary-Kay Daniels of Hugoton, Kansas, and Carolyn Dixon of Richfield, Kansas. Edwin was blessed with five grandchildren; Ryan Cook, Loren Cook, Daine Miller, Quincy Cook, and Kade Cook, one great-grandchild; Averie Cook.

Edwin is preceded in death by his parents; Ed and Virginia Cook.
