Air Force Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Edward E. Brown, 58 of Wichita Falls passed away July 11, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21 at Finney New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Finney, TX. Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 20 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Edward was born November 4, 1953 in Plainview, TX to Reverend Clarence and Hazel Brown. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Beverly; children Edward Eugene Jr. of Wichita Falls and Amber Nikole of Nashville, TN; grandson William Edward MacArthur; sisters, Alma, Betty (Roosevelt), and Ethel (Keith); brothers- Fred (Emma). Joe (Millie), Jimmy (Valerie), and William; sisters-in-law, Deborah(Warren), Joslin, Michelle, Sally, Darlene (Johnny); brothers-in-law, Samuel (Marilyn) and Roderic; many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends he dearly loved and cherished.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Curtis; mother-in-law, Ola Mae, and sister-in-law, Jean.
Ed thoroughly enjoyed life and was fulfilled through the love of God, family, and friends. He cherished his two children. Never knowing a stranger, he always had a smile and conversation for anyone
