Dwight Coleman, 71, of Plainview, departed from this earthly world on October 10, 2020. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Bartley Memorial Chapel.  A visitation is set for Friday, October 16, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Bartley Funeral Home.

Dwight was born on August 14. 1949 to Carl Edward and Bennie Faye Coleman in Decatur, Texas. He loved joking around and had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed football and his favorite team was the Kansas City Chiefs. If you knew Dwight you knew that his favorite hobby was making money and he was very good at it. Dwight will be remembered as a generous man who would do absolutely anything for anyone and for his beautiful eyes. He loved people and enjoyed making others smile.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters; Debra Filmore and husband, Jesse, of Fort Worth, Texas and Carlene Willis and husband, Marcus, of Plainview, brothers; Ben Coleman and wife, Brenda, of Plainview, and Bobby Coleman and wife, Judy, of San Angelo, Texas, and special nieces; Jackie and Katriel.  Dwight also leaves behind a host of other nieces and nephews.

Dwight is preceded in death by his parents; Carl Edward and Bennie Faye Coleman, brothers; Tyrone Coleman, Ronald Coleman, and Danny Coleman, and a nephew; Angelo Pruitt.
