Doris Morrison, 90, passed from this life on Sept 2 ^nd , 2018 in Canyon, TX.

Doris Faye Wilson was born on July 31 ^st , 1928 to Arthur Lee Wilson and Beulah Meeks Wilson in Merkel, TX.

Doris married Harold Morrison in 1946 before Harold left for active duty in World War II.  They settled back in Texas to farm land.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, her brother, Glenn Wilson and her parents.  Doris was a farm wife to Harold who farmed in the Plainview and Edmonson area for 60 years.  They were members of First Baptist Church in Plainview.

Those left to cherish her memory are; a sister in law, Lawanda Wilson, of Amarillo, TX, six nieces; Melinda Thomas of Plainview, Gwen Randolph of St Louis, MO, Glenda J. Tanner of Olympia, WA, Kathy Beal of San Antonio, TX, Doris Jones, of Graham, TX and Jan Johnson of OK; 3 nephews:  Danny Miller of Plainview, Jim Morrison of Rockport, TX and D.L. Morrison of Albuquerque, NM.

Doris's body will be donated to Texas Tech Medical School research.  A memorial for Doris will be held at a later time.
