Memorial services for Dora Calderon, 75 of Hale Center will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Calderon died Tuesday, November 10 in Hale Center. She was born February 25, 1940 in Fort Sumner, New Mexico to Samuel and Pearl Barela. She is survived by her husband, Jessie Q. Calderon of Hale Center; 8 daughters, Donna and Chris Lopez of Hale Center, Hope Jimenez of Lubbock, Mary and Victor Gomez of Amarillo, Beck Perez and Carlos Rivas of Hale Center, Irene and Jose Palacios of Richmond, TX, Dora Calderon of Hale Center, Kimberly Calderon and Ronnie Ramirez of Hale Center and Sandy Castillo of Hale Center; 5 sons, Jimmy and Lorena Calderon of Anson, TX, James and Maryann Calderon of Plainview, Michael and Mark Calderon both of Hale Center and Christopher Calderon and Mona Castillo of Lubbock; 35 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
