Donny Wayne Phillips, 59, of Houston, formerly Plainview, passed away on February 12, 2022. Services will be held at a later date.

Donny was born on August 5, 1962, in De Kalb, Texas to PW and Elizabeth (Hunter) Phillips. He lived in Plainview for many years.  Donny loved music and enjoyed singing, playing drums, and traveling. One of his favorite things was food. He enjoyed food to the fullest. Donny never met a stranger and really enjoyed talking with anyone and everyone. He will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Donny Jr. (DJ) of Plainview, Tavoya Phillips of Houston, and Theresa Lee of Okatie, South Carolina; and brother, Charles Phillips of Plainview.

Donny is preceded in death by his parents; PW and Elizabeth Phillips, a sister; Faye Stidoms, and a brother; Joe Phillips.
