Memorial services for Don Young, 66 of Plainview will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Trinity Fellowship Church with Oscar Chavez officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Don passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Plainview. He was born on June 13, 1947 in Winnsboro, Texas to Felix and Hazel Sutton Young. He married Dianne Stidham on February 24, 2006 in Clovis, N.M. Don graduated from Lockney High School in 1966. He worked for Gene Pearcy Honda Shop. He was also a reserve deputy for Hale County Sheriff's Department and was a lineman for Xcel Energy. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Young of Plainview; 2 sons, Scott Young and wife Linda of Plainview and Todd Young and wife Trina of Amarillo; 1 daughter, Julia Adams and husband Joe of Texarkana; 3 brothers, O.H. Young and wife Louise of South Texas, Arnold Young and wife Callie of Utah, Ray Rogers and wife Cathy of Nashville, Arkansas, 1 sister, Linda Sue Hazelwood and husband Woody of Plainview, 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren
