Funeral services for Don Johnston, 84 of Plainview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at First Baptist Church with Danny Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Don passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in Plainview. He was born on April 4, 1930 in Hollis, OK to J.D. and Ernestine Bilbrey Johnston. He married Marion Franks on April 1, 1950 in Clovis, N.M. Don was owner of Johnston Motors in Plainview for 62 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the ABC Club. He is survived by his wife, Marion Johnston of Plainview; 1 Son, Tim Johnston and wife Lynn of Plano; 1 Daughter, Jeana Blankenship of Plainview; 1 Brother, Dwight Johnston and wife Beverly of Claremont, Calif.; 1 Sister, Jean Anderson of Court Springs, TX; 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren
