Funeral Mass for Domingo R. Sanchez, 92 of Kress will be at 10:00 am Monday April 2, 2012 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Kress with Rev. Marco Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Kress Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Sunday at the church. The body will lie in state at the church till service time.

Mr. Sanchez died Friday March 30, 2012 in Kress. He was born on December 7, 1919 in Blanco, Texas to Felix and Antonia Sanchez. He married Candelaria Alvarez on December 3, 1963 in Plainview, Texas. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Kress.

Survivors are his wife, Candelaria Sanchez of Kress; two daughters, Linda Vasquez and Angela Noriega both of Kress; four sons, Martin Sanchez of Kress, Rene Sanchez of Seguin, TX, Armando Sanchez of Houston, and Manuel Sanchez of Round Rock, TX.; two brothers, Epimenio Sanchez of Madisonville, TX and Macario Sanchez of Conroe, TX.; 23 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Domingo, Jr. and Esmeraldo Sanchez; two sisters, Fermana Andrade and Epifania Ramirez and three brothers, Manuel, Marcello and Valente Sanchez.
