Funeral services for Dan Brady Davis, 88 of Plainview will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Garland Street Church of Christ with Steve Gauntt officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Davis passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 in Lubbock. He was born on March 11, 1924 in Chillicothe, Texas to Joseph and Ruth Davis. He married Margaret Aden on March 12, 1947 in Plainview. He worked for Dulaney's Auto Parts for 27 years and was a partner in DJ's Auto Parts. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a member of Garland Street Church of Christ. His survivors are 1 son, Charles Davis and wife Rita of Deerfield Beach, Florida; 1 daughter, Carla Jo Davis of Lubbock; 2 Dranddaughters, Melissa Davis of Deerfield, Florida and Lona Voigt of Sarasota, Florida; and 3 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife.
