Dale Morris Granger Jr., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 10, 2022. A small memorial will be held at Bartley Funeral Home on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. A future celebration of life will be held in Flint, Michigan at a later date.

Dale was born on January 15, 1937, in Baltimore, Maryland to Dale and Dorothy Granger. While Dale was born in Baltimore, once they moved to Michigan, he became a true Michigander and began building his life in Flint. He loved all Michigan sports and loved yelling at the Detroit Tigers on TV. He loved his family dearly and his career was his passion! Hudsons Department Store was his second home, and you could find him picking out and fitting the perfect suit.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Diane Granger, and a very dear cousin and friend; Kenneth Stange.

He is survived by his daughter; Dana Granger and son-in-law; Mario Hernandez, ex-wife; Elisabeth Granger, and some very dear cousins; the Stange family who made his last few years just as special as he was.

There are many more who will forever miss his infectious smile as he touched many hearts at Brookdale Assisted living in Michigan, Prairie House Nursing Home in Plainview, and his very special extended family in Texas.
