Graveside Services for Curtis Ray Carr, 64, of Plainview, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at Earth Memorial Cemetery in Earth, TX with Pastor Juan Samarron from Bright Morning Star Baptist Church officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Carr passed from this life on August 31st in Plainview.

Curtis Carr was born on February 9, 1954 to Robert and Naddie Conner Carr in Waco, TX. He farmed most of his life. He attended Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Earth, TX and was a member of the V.A.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Michael Carr of Texas, Jason Carr of Texas, Jennifer Carr of Dallas, TX, and Lisa Carr of Texas, sisters: Melba Carr of Lindsay, OK, and April Tanklesy of Big Springs, TX, one brother, Garvin Tanklesy and wife Diane of Pleaserville, Conn., several grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Naddie Carr, and his younger sister, Jessie Carol Carr.
